Tyranny Studios is the record label and website of Brian Roberts. He is an American guitarist, composer, songwriter, educator, music director and creator. He lives a migratory life between his home state of Hawai'i, Japan and Washington state. Brian can be found playing music, forming bands, taking on students and learning new things wherever he finds himself. Since 2004, he has been musically active and one day hopes to become a world-class musician and establish a group of like-minded musicians to tour the world.

Currently, Brian fronts the Hawaiian Punk Goes Pop concept band The Ukus, and the jazz fusion instrumental group Console - The VGM Band. He is also the founder and manager of the live band karaoke experience Karaoke Stars Hawaii and the acoustic duo Acoustickle. He works for hardcore punk rock band Anti-Matter, and contemporary Hawaiian singer Kulia Davis. He is also an affiliate/alumnus of the community orchestras Hitbox Music Ensemble, and Virtual Video Game Orchestra, contemporary Hawaiian singer-songwriter Shar Carillo.
